Thank you for using Sena! These Terms of Service ("Terms") explain your rights and responsibilities when using our products and services. Please read them carefully. By creating an account or using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.
When we say "Sena," "we," "our," or "us," we mean Sena Technologies, Inc..
When we say "Services," we mean our websites (e.g., sena.com and joinsena.com), apps, and any other products we operate.
When we say "you" or "your," we mean anyone using the Services, with or without an account.
These Terms apply to anyone who uses our Services, whether you
- create an account,
- upload LinkedIn URLs to build a directory,
- participate in a community check-in or event interaction where you provide your email, LinkedIn URL, or voice input.
1) Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
You are responsible for all activity under your account, including by your users.
Accounts must be registered by humans. Automated signups (bots, scripts) are not allowed.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
2) Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Services. In particular, you must not:
Collect or extract data from other users' accounts without permission.
Circumvent or disable security features.
Upload malware or attempt to disrupt the Services.
Harass, impersonate, or defraud others.
Use the Services in violation of applicable laws or regulations.
We may suspend or terminate accounts involved in abuse or unlawful use.
3) Uploading third-party data
If you upload or share LinkedIn profile URLs or other personal data of third parties, you are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to do so. By providing this data, you allow us to process it in line with our Privacy Policy.
4) Payments & Cancellations
Free plans are truly free — we don't ask for credit card details, and we don't sell your data.
Paid Services are billed in advance. If you don't pay, your account may be frozen and later cancelled.
Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades at the next billing cycle.
Taxes may apply depending on your location.
Refunds are handled under our Fair Refund policy.
5) Cancellation & Termination
You can cancel your account at any time. When you do, your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or misuse the Services.
Abuse of Sena staff (verbal, physical, or written) may result in immediate termination.
6) Service Changes
We may modify or discontinue features or pricing. If we make major changes, we'll notify you in advance when possible.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee they will meet your needs or be error-free.
7) Data & Privacy
Using the Services means you allow us to process your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Recordings of voice calls are processed in real time and not stored. Transcripts and insights are retained as long as your account is active.
Our employees may access your account only in limited cases: to resolve a support request, fix a system error, investigate abuse, or comply with legal obligations.
We use third-party vendors (e.g., hosting, analytics, AI providers) to run the Services. See [https://sena.so/pages/subprocessors] for an up-to-date list.
8) Intellectual Property
- You own the content you create or upload to Sena. We need a limited license to use it in order to operate the Services (e.g., storing, processing, displaying, and transmitting it).
- We don't claim ownership of your content.
- Sena and its licensors own all rights in the Services, including trademarks, designs, and software. You may not copy, resell, or exploit the Services without our written permission.
- If you upload or share LinkedIn profile URLs or other personal data of third parties, you are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to do so. By providing this data, you allow us to process it in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9) APIs and Integrations
If you use our APIs or connect to third-party integrations:
You are responsible for that use.
Excessive or abusive API usage may result in suspension.
We are not responsible for third-party integrations.
10) Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Sena is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost profits, data, or goodwill).
Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Using Sena means you trust us to run the Services responsibly, but you assume the risk if things don't work out.
11) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence.
12) Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date. If changes are significant, we'll notify you by email or in-app notice.
