Sena

Use case: trade shows

Send every trade show visitor to the stands they came to see

At VivaTech 2026, three in four delegate conversations with Sena asked for the right companies. Your floor has thousands of exhibitors, and a visitor has a few hours. Sena asks each visitor what they came to find, then gives them a short list of stands. Your exhibitors get visitors with a reason. You get a record of what the floor wanted.

Who is this for?

Organizers of trade shows and expos with a big floor and exhibitors who pay for a stand.

It fits a show where visitors come to buy, scout or compare. It also fits a floor with a startup village or a themed hall. Under about 100 exhibitors, a good floor map does the job, and you do not need us.

Why do good exhibitors get empty stands?

Visitors cannot find them. The floor map lists names. It does not say which stand solves which problem.

A visitor walks the main aisle, sees the big brands and leaves. The exhibitor in the back hall with the right product sees nobody. At renewal, that exhibitor asks what the stand bought. A badge scan count does not answer the question.

What does a visitor see?

A chat with your event agent, on WhatsApp or on the web. The visitor says what they came for. Sena answers with stands, in the order of the halls.

Sena knows every exhibitor on your list and every session on your programme. It also answers the small questions: where a hall is, when a talk starts, where to eat.

At VivaTech 2026, three in four delegate conversations asked for one thing: the right companies. One IT lead asked for five innovative stands in two hours, for a person in IT. Sena gave the route.

I run IT for a retail chain and I have two hours on the floor. Which stands do I see first?

10:42

Five stands for retail IT, in hall order:

Hall 1, B12: shelf cameras that count stock.

Hall 1, C04: checkout without a till.

Hall 2, A31: store data in one dashboard.

Want two more on store security?

10:42

Yes. And which of these sell to chains under 50 shops?

A visitor with two hours gets a route in hall order. Stand names are examples.

What do you get after the show?

A report on demand across your floor, in the words of your visitors.

  • What visitors asked for. The themes and problems they named, ranked. At VivaTech, robotics led, then applied AI, then retail technology.
  • Where Sena sent them. Which exhibitors got visitors, and why each visitor went.
  • Who nobody asked for. Exhibitors with no demand, so you can fix a thin profile before the renewal talk.
  • A follow-up list. Every visitor who talked to Sena, with their goal in their own words, as a file.

Which exhibitor got what stays with you. We do not publish it. Every report section is on the sample post-event report.

Has this worked on a real show floor?

Yes, at VivaTech 2026 and on the sponsor floor of FOST London 2026.

At VivaTech 2026, Hub Institute put Sena in front of its Explorer Tour delegations. Sena knew 2,996 exhibitors and made 1,672 recommendations. Delegates started 411 conversations, and Sena started none. Read the VivaTech case study.

At FOST London 2026, Sena sent attendees to nine in ten sponsors. In one conversation in three, Sena guided the attendee to sponsors and exhibitors. That count includes the times Sena offered a stand, not only the times an attendee asked. Read the FOST London case study.

What does your team do?

Send us your exhibitor list and your programme. A spreadsheet export is fine. We do the rest.

Put the agent where visitors look: a QR code on the badge, a line in the visitor email, a sign at the entrance. WhatsApp asks for an opt-in before a business sends a message, so the WhatsApp Business policy decides how we reach visitors first. The full list is on what it takes to set up Sena. Prices start at 3,000 per event, on the pricing page.

Frequently asked questions

How do you increase booth traffic for exhibitors at a trade show?

Give each visitor a short list of stands that match what they came for. A visitor with a reason walks to the stand. At VivaTech 2026, Sena made 1,672 recommendations from 2,996 exhibitors. 94% of them sent a delegate to an exhibitor or a startup.

Is this lead capture for exhibitors?

No. Sena sends visitors to stands because the visitor asked for that kind of company. You keep your lead retrieval and badge scans. Sena adds the reason each visitor walked to the stand.

What happens to exhibitors that nobody asks for?

You see them in the report. At FOST London 2026, three of the 33 sponsors never went to an attendee. All three had a thin profile. You can fix a thin profile before the renewal talk.

Do visitors need to install an app?

No. Visitors use WhatsApp, or a web chat on a laptop. It is the same agent in both places.

Does every visitor get the same list?

No. Each visitor says what they came to find, in their own words. Sena builds the list from that answer and from your exhibitor list.
